Local Quad City Area Artist donates Buffalo image for T-Shirts. Made in the Quad Cities Area local artist of Bettendorf Nancy Teitle donates her Artwork in the form of one of her spirited Buffalo images for the T-Shirt sales featured for the Buffalo Days festival.

Nancy Teitle has just returned from a 10-day fashion-buying trip in New York City for her Moline store Movers and Shakers. Offering finer fashions, accessories and garments, Movers and Shakers is located at 419 15th Street, downtown Moline, Illinois.

Wyoming Hill Old Settlers Reunion is this weekend!
August 19th-20th, 2006 Relive Old History – Festivities Include:

  • Buckskinners Encampment / Rendezvous
  • American Indian Encampment
  • Cowboy Encampment
  • Draft Horse Competition and Demonstrations
  • Days of yesteryear with old steam engines, old saw mill and much more.

Fun and educational for the entire family!

  • AUGUST 18TH – FRIDAY 7PM – A Cowboy style Chuck wagon supper with a one hour cowboy singing and music concert.
  • AUGUST 19TH – SATURDAY 9 AM Open to the Public!
  • AUGUST 19TH – SATURDAY 10 am – City Slicker Rodeo; Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association is bringing in their top shooters from around the country. Mounted shooting is like barrel racing with balloons in between the barrels. Very exciting!
  • AUGUST 20TH – SUNDAY – Cowboy Church on Sunday Morning – 9 AM

Buffalo Days Are Coming!
Come Join the Fun! August 22nd, 23rd, & 24th. Meet a new friend ~ Start a Tradition...

Celebrating the history of Iowa's first and oldest settlement in Scott County, the town of Buffalo will host a live buffalo calf raised by Nancy and Lyndall Winter of the buffalo ranch, CW Livestock, 3927 Hwy 61 Blue Grass, Iowa. T-shirts featuring Buffalo images will be offered for purchase during the Buffalo Days.



Events at Buffalo Days:
Parade, Vendors, Crafts, Park, Flea Market, Antique Cars, Contests, Bake Sale, Box Lunch, Bingo, and More. If you want to sponsor a contest, call Dana at 381-3245.



BINGO:
Sat & Sun 12-4 Buffalo Ambulance for Info: Chad Byron 381-1112. Proceeds go to the Ambulance Service.



Vendors - Crafts - Park - Flea Market: 
10 x 12 spaces along street in park - $25 per space - bring your own tables. Call Larry Behnecke for info: 381-3028.



Box Lunch - Bake Sale:
Old-Fashioned Box Lunch make a lunch for two and tell what's in it. The proceeds will go toward the Skateboard Park. Call Larry Thein 381-9025. For the Bake Sale, donations are welcome.




Our FEATURED EVENTS


Parade route has changed! The start is at Conoco on Hwy. 22, and goes to Dodge, past park. Then turn back going past Sr. Housing and across 4th to starting point. Trophies in Park at 5 PM.



Antique Cars Self Judged-Trophies Park your cars behind Old Buffalo School at the Park.



Buffalo Days Contests include these divisions: Women/Girls- Best Decorated Hat. Men/Boys-Patchwork Coveralls - Womens Division Also. Bicycle Decoration Contest 10 & under, 11 & above. Old Fashioned Best Dressed Men/Women.
